Blackheath High School has been absolutely vibrant with activity this month, and February's event calendar is not showing any signs of slowing down.
Senior girls from Year 7 to 13 enjoyed their third trips day of the academic year yesterday. There was a fantastic range of trips and activities, from historic visits to see the remains on Roman townhouses and theatres in St Albans, to matinee theatre performances in London's West End to see 'Woman in Black'. A big thank you to our teachers, who always go the extra mile to make sure our girls have deeply enriching experiences.
Next week we will be hosting one of our special 'Wollstonecraft Lates' events, designed for Blackheath High School and GDST Alumnae.
At this panel event, 'Building and Maintaining your Professional Network', we will be welcoming a guest panellist Otegha Uwagba, Sunday Times bestselling Author of 'Little Black Book'.We are especially looking forward to the insights Otegha has to share with our Alumnae community, and I would like to extend the invitation to this event to Blackheath High School parents.
The event will be taking place on Tuesday 1 February from 6.30 - 7.30pm via Zoom; you can register for this event here if you are interested in attending.
I hope to welcome many of you to one of our upcoming events this year.
Wishing you a restful weekend and a Happy Lunar New Year.
