Contract term: Fixed Term Maternity Cover Contract

Hours: Part Time 60% - 3 days per week

If you are a well-qualified and passionate junior school teacher looking to develop your career further, this is an exciting opportunity with the potential to play a key role in the leadership and direction of Maths at Blackheath High Junior School as a Junior School Subject Co-ordinator.

You will join a thriving and successful Key Stage 2 department and lead by example in the teaching of Maths, promoting excellence and inspiration in teaching and learning.

In addition to your excellent subject knowledge, you will need knowledge of current subject-related developments and be able to give clear direction that enables pupils to achieve the highest quality education in the subject.

You will also need excellent knowledge of the key characteristics of quality teaching and learning.

If you have a genuine enthusiasm for the promotion of Maths and are able to communicate your vision for the future direction of the subject within our school we will be delighted to hear from you.
