Year 3 Curate for the Day at the Old Royal Naval College

Year 10 attended a Nutrition workshop on Friday 16 June where they discussed the different food groups with a nutritionist and highlighted the constituents of a balanced diet. The purpose of this workshop was to provide an opportunity to think about nutrition carefully and all the benefits that each food group provides. Students were asked to come up with examples of foods for each main food group.
Pippa, the nutritionist, created black bean brownies – explaining that black beans provide the deep fudgy flavour of the brownie, whilst providing extra protein and fibre.
