What an amazing few days our new Year 7s had at PGL at the beginning of this half term. There were lots of great team building exercises, abseiling, archery, the exhilarating giant swing and trapeze, ambush and bonding around the campfire! All captured in some great photos.  

If you have ever wondered what PGL stands for – it is not ‘Parents Get Lost’ as the girls jokingly refer to it (although that is the essence of their fun and independent escape!), but rather it is named after the man who started PGL Travel back in the 1950s - Peter Gordon Lawrence. To this day, students all over the UK enjoy the spirit of adventure behind this special residential.
