This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the admissions process at one of the UK’s leading girls’ independent schools, providing professional and inspiring leadership for the entire customer journey across the Junior and Senior schools, from initial enquiry through to registration and enrolment.

As part of our Marketing & Admissions Department, you will be responsible for ensuring a professional, friendly experience for prospective parents and pupils as they join us. You will be the face of Blackheath High School for prospective families, and make the admissions process as seamless as possible.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and directing all aspects of Admissions, administering families from enquiry through to enrolment
  • Managing the whole school admissions process to ensure that all enquirers and applicants receive a warm, welcoming and positive impression of the school at every touch point
  • Working with key senior figures on strategies to attract high-quality applicants across all entry points
  • Planning, organising and leading events to celebrate and demonstrate the unique educational offer at Blackheath High School
  • Maintaining, developing and implementing admissions processes and communications
  • Leading the Admissions Team
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with local feeder schools and other partners in our community, including within the GDST network

You will need to be an enthusiastic, approachable and welcoming team player, with excellent interpersonal and administrative skills and the ability to work to deadlines with a proactive approach to planning and prioritising your work. Similar experience in a marketing or admissions department, along with a proven record in reaching targets in a service driven environment is desirable. Experience of managing a database and using digital and social media is equally important.
